Compliance

The Rules Engine from EnableTS is the heart of the product. On the one hand it allows providers and their resellers to restrict the end user organizations access to certain products and features. The Rules Engine is the also the heart of the product as it allows the end user organization to deploy their own compliance rule requirements.

The requirement for compliance is increasing throughout various different industries, as well as many organizations introducing their own requirements. Whatever the compliance requirement, the EnableTS rules engine, is a key tool to help implement those requirements. EnableTS rules engine has built in facilities to assist in PCI, HIPPA and Sarbanes–Oxley compliance. As well as additional built in dictionaries to help identify abusive language, and other inappropriate content – such as sexual overtones, or racial slurs.

The system uses 'Conditions' and 'Actions' to effectively police the content of emails. The Conditions include looking at the subject, body, attachment, size and other factors of the email. Rules can also be applied to groups, or single recipients, as well as being used in conjunction with other modules, such as spam, virus or image scanning. Depending on the compliance requirement actions vary from reject or quarantine, through to re-direct or send an administrative alert. The Conditions and Actions are many and varied and cover every type of requirement for a modern compliance system.

Used in conjunction with the reporting module, businesses are able to run graphic and statistical reports of compliance rules, and see information of non-compliance. Reports can be exported, and data used in Excel. The Email Audit Center presents a full log all of emails, and which compliance rules were breached. Corporate compliance officers and administrators can general full reports on which users breached policy, and how often they breached the policy.
