Archiving

EnableTS email archiving allows our clients to offer granular email archiving as part of their standard offering, or as part of a premium, increased revenue, pricing model. The archiving module fully integrates with the EnableTS Email Gateway for archiving directly within the cloud. As well as providing seamless integration into Microsoft Exchange, and other major email systems for archiving of internal emails to the cloud.

Storage is often the biggest headache in any email archiving solution, but with the EnableDSS (Distributed Storage System) our clients can specify either one central storage location for all of their customers' archives, or can assign storage to individual customers or groups of customers. Thus our clients can assign the most cost effective and suitable storage based on their customers' requirements.  For example – a large medical establishment might require a high grade of storage, that is provides certain service level agreements, whereas other businesses may not have the same service level requirements. In this case, the clients could have their data stored on different storage. Whilst some customers require the 'belt and braces' approach to assist them in their SoX compliance, others merely require a remote location backup of their files in the event of onsite system failure.

The Archiving module has advanced search functionality, that allows customers to search for emails using various criteria, including keywords, sender, recipient, date and time, as well as which policy it was archived under. The interface provides users a friendly facility to locate emails quickly, while allowing businesses to identify email policy breaches quickly and efficiently.

Emails are stored securely, and cannot be deleted or modified. Therefore customers can feel secure in knowing the archive is secure from user interference. It allows granular access and can also be used to 'recover' either individual, or bulk selected, emails. Usability operates on a granular permissions basis so that Administrators can, if they wish, permit users to see their own personal archive, and even 'recover' items without requiring administrative input.
